Merrill Man Arrested For Battery and Disorderly Conduct In June 23 Incident
MERRILL – On Sunday June 23, the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office received a disorderly conduct complaint regarding a situation that was taking place at the Prairie View Motel in Merrill. The reporting person stated that an 86 year old Merrill man threw a bottle of medication at her while she was in her vehicle. When the deputy questioned her regarding details of the event, she responded that the glass bottle he had thrown caused her pain when it struck her in the left arm.
An independent witness who was on the scene confirmed her story. Upon further investigation, the 86 year old male subject was placed under arrest for battery and disorderly conduct.
